Son of Isaac and Catharine Kline Bast, born about 1839 based on 1850 census records. A reference book at Schuylkill Co Historical Society for First Presbyterian Cemetery Ref 779 lists under First Presbyterian Cemetery: George son of Isaac and Catharine Aug 15 1853 age 13. Billion Graves also has a photo of his memorial stone dated 1853.

An oddity of this family is that the 1860 census lists all members ever born to this family, whether living or deceased, and whether still living in the household or married and living elsewhere. George is among those listed on that census although clearly he was deceased as is a daughter Susannah not otherwise documented who probably died young.
