Dr. Darius Carpenter, son of Daniel Carpenter, was born in Rehoboth (Seekonk) Oct. 4, 1783; studied medicine with Dr. George A. Bolton of Seekonk. Commenced practice there in 1816; married Anna Carpenter of Seekonk, Nov. 9, 1817. Died of consumption July 16, 1833.
