Her grandparents were Immigrants from Lizzano-Belvedere, Bologna, Italy having come to Ladd, Bureau Co., IL to work in the coal mines.
When the railroad came to Ladd, her father found safer employment and the opportunity to locate to LaPorte, IN.
Bea graduated from LaPorte High School was wed to Walter E. Parthun. They became the parents of Kenneth (Anita) and Cathy Parthun McInerney. Bea and Walter later divorced.
She died at the home of her daughter in South Bend, IN in 1985 at the age of 78. She was interred at St. Joseph's Cemetery in LaPorte, IN with her mother Rose Capello Muratori.
