Rose was born to Anton Capello and Rose Buffo Capello, Italian immigrants from Provincia di Turino, Italy and Provincia di Alessandra Piedmonte, Italy. The family first went to Braidwood, IL, then to the coal mining village of Ladd in Bureau Co. IL.

Rose's siblings were Maria (Born in Italy), Angelina, Caterina, Albina B and James C.

Rose was wed to Giuseppe "Geno" Joseph Muratori in Ladd in 1921. His family had immigrated to IL from Lizzano-Belvedere, Bologna, Italy.

Geno and Rose became the parents of Eugene "Geno" J (Peggy Murrill & Lillian Wheybrew Gustafson), Gloria R, and Bernice "Bea" Rose (Walter E Parthun) Muratori.

As a young man Geno began working on the railroad - first with Chicago Milwaukee & St. Paul in Ladd eventually to be transferred to LaPorte, IN with the New York Central RR from where he retired.

Geno passed in 1972 at the age of 73 and Rose in 1985 at 86 years of age. Geno was interred at Ladd Cemetery in Ladd, IL with Gloria Rose. Geno was later transferred to St. Joseph's Cemetery in LaPorte with wife Rose. Baby Gloria Rose remains remained in Ladd, IL.
