Remigio, a resident of Abiquiu, passed away following a lengthy battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his wife Virginia Archuleta; parents Maximinio and Rosa Archuleta; daughter Christina Chavez; and all his siblings.

Remigio was survived by his children: Max Archuleta, Ostalio Orlando Archuleta, Victoria Archuleta, Cynthia Archuleta, Ursula Temple, Victor Archuleta; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Remigio worked for Campbell Soup Company for 33 years. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, and family gatherings. He served on the board of Trusties of the Merced del Pueblo in Abiquiu. He enjoyed playing basketball and bowling when he was younger. Remigio was a father figure to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Rosary was recited on 5 Aug 2016 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Abiquiu. Mass of Christian Burial was on 6 Aug 2016. Burial followed in the Abiquiu Cemetery.
