Cowan, 75, who died Friday morning, will be held in the Shurden Chapel Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. J. C. Segler, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiating. Pallbearers will be William Keith, S. E. Kight, Melvin Kight, Omer Lee Berno, and Lewis Berno. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Norma Cowan, of the home address; two sons, Roy Cowan, Chanute, Kan.; and Nolan Cowan, Hanford, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Alva Martin, Scotie, Calif.; Mrs. Mollie Jumper, Colbert; and one sister, Mrs. W. G. Williams Okemah. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery, Okemah, under the direction of the Shurden Funeral Home.
