Obituary from The Daily Herald (Provo, Utah) April 16, 1970:

Ireta Harper Park, 74, died Wednesday at the Juab County Hospital at Nephi. She was born at Payson, April 7, 1896, a daughter of William T. and Evaline Ladell Wightman Harper.

She married Edgar D. Park, October 3, 1916 in Provo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.

Mrs. Park was active in the LDS Church, serving in the Primary and Relief Society organizations. She was a member of the Woodbine Social Club.

Survivors include her husband and the following children: Mrs. Miles (Maxine) Anderson and Mrs. Dee (Florence) Kendall, Nephi; Marvin D. Park, San Carlos, Arizona; Lyle H. Park, Spanish Fork; three sisters; Mrs Clare Barnett, Murray; Mrs. Vola Butler, Spring Lake; and Mrs. Cora Daniels, Payson; half-sisters; Mrs. Virginia Tweedy, Mrs. Evelyn Montague, Mrs. Wilma Nelson, Mrs. Beth Provstgaard, Mrs. Eva Argyle, all of Salt Lake City; Mrs. Inez Bowers, Payson; Mrs. Lois Argyle, Ogden; and Mrs. Alice Smith, Bountiful; one half-brother, Merle Harper, Salt Lake City.

She also has 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren surviving.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Juab LDS Stake House. Interment will be in the Nephi City Cemetery.
