Hannah & Chancy Smith came to Denton County in 1857 from Missouri, along with Chancy's brother and Hannah's sister (William Smith & Justin King Smith). Hannah & Justin's parents, John & Delilah Cox King, had come to Denton County from Missouri in 1845. Chancy and Hannah had the following children: Martha Adeline, Christopher Columbus, Ester Ann, Delilah Jane, Wiliam Thomas, George Andrew (my grt-grandfather), and more.
