Betty Partridge

Betty June Partridge, 67, of 401 W. Roosevelt Road, Danville, died at 440 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, 1996, at her home.

Born June 8, 1928, at Edina, Mo., she was the daughter of Henry Mason and Eulah Rhoda Basket Edwards. She married Hugh L. Partridge Oct. 9, 1948, at Fort Madison.

She was a graduate of Rutledge High School in Rutledge, Mo., and the LPN program at Southeastern Community College. Mrs. Partridge was a licensed practical nurse for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Danville for over 40 years and taught Sunday School for many years.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Jerry K. Partridge of Fairfield and Terry R. Partridge of Elgin, Ill.; one daughter, Sherry F. Drinkall of Danville; seven grandchildren; and three sisters, Lola Morrow of Fort Madison, Leda Madden of Pomona, Calif., and Margie Dent of Columbia, Mo.

Friends may call from noon to 6 p.m. today at Elliott Chapel in New London, with the family receiving friends from 630 to 830 p.m.

The funeral for Mrs. Partridge will be 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Danville, with the Rev. Harry Hollingsworth officiating. Burial will be in Long Creek Cemetery in Danville.

A memorial has been established for First Baptist Church in Danville.
