Mrs. Eliza Ann Crosthwaite, an estimable woman of this county, widow of John P. Crosthwaite, died at her home near Alberta at 12:20 o'clock yesterday morning. She was born in this county December 19, 1855, and was a daughter of the late Alford and Melissa Kitchen. She married John P. Crosthwaite, who died in October 1931. Mrs. Crosthwaite was a consistent member of Beards Presbyterian Church and an excellent woman, who was held in high esteem.

She is survived by: two sons, W. A. Crosthwaite, of this county, and J. N. Crosthwaite, of Anderson, Indiana; a half-brother, R. S. Kitchen, sheriff of Harrison County; and two half-sisters, Mrs. Margaret Wright, of Georgetown, and Mrs. Lizzie Brown, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Funeral services will be held at Boyers Chapel Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Carlos Whitaker, and burial will be at Beards Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Ever Crosthwaite, Lavern Crosthwaite, James Crosthwaite, George Crosthwaite, Linley Crosthwaite and Odus Kitchen.
