Mrs. Ara Riddle Sports, 98, of Fayetteville, NC left her worldly home on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 to be in her new heavenly home with her heavily father and her loving husband William Sports and many loved ones that had passed on before.
Mrs. Sports was born on June 4, 1917 in Gaston County, NC, to the late Arthur and Maggie Bright Riddle.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 12 noon at Reeves Funeral Home with interment at the Parkton City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 am to 12 noon. at the funeral home.
Those left to cherish her memory includes daughters, Millie S. Tyson and Gail Long; sons, Joe Sports and Dickie Sports; sister, Barbara Potter; eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Jesus First Church, 7467 Camden Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 in memory of Ara Sports or a favorite charity.
