James Elmer Roeder, of Earle, and Ada May RISNER, of Levesque, were married Apr 17, 1914 in Crittenden County, AR.

Ada was the daughter of Allen J. and Malinda Risner.

According to Edna Roeder LEAPTROT, Lillie was the oldest child of Elmer and Ada. She believed that Lillie is buried under the road in front of the church.

Elma, son, was age 8, born Jul 1891, when the 1900 census was taken and was living in Tyronza Twp with his parents, J. W. Roeder, 38 born May 1862 in TN, and Etta, 32 born Feb 1868 in IN and siblings; John 14 born Jul 1885 TN, Claud 2 born Jul 1897 AR, and Earnest C. 7/12 born Oct 1899 AR plus niece Laura Carter 13 born Jan 1887 AR and boarder John W. Smith 31 born Oct 1868 in NC. Etta had 6 children with 4 living.

In 1910, Crittenden County, Tyronza Twp, Elmar, age 17, was in the household with his parents, James W., age 48, born TN, and Mary Reeder, age 41, born IL. They had been married 21 yrs, and both had been married twice. Mary had given birth to 7 children with 5 living. The other children were Claude age 13, Ernest age 10, Earle age 7, and Roscoe age 3. Since 5 children were listed in the household, John, the oldest, must have died by 1910. Is he also buried here?
