Bridget Messer, 86, went to her Lord and Savior Nov.16, 2006. She lived a long and fulfilling life. Bridget's Mass will be at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Tacoma, Tue., Nov. 21 at 10:30AM with Father Carmen Sacco, S.J. as the celebrant. Bridget was born Nov. 13, 1920 on the family homestead near Schefield, ND and was one of 14 children born to Dominick and Catherine (Greff) Wandler. Bridget worked in Tacoma at Safeway Stores for 25 years and Pete, her husband of 55 years, worked with Tacoma Transit. Bridget was preceded in death by her husband, the love of her life. She is survived by four sisters and many nieces and nephews. We will all miss her greatly! Visitation at New Tacoma Cemetery on Mon., Nov. 20. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Rita's Church.
