Margaret Francis Thompson was born the daughter of John Branstutter Thompson and his wife Florence D. Kendall. She married Gilbert Leonard and Lewis Franklin Boots. She was adopted by Edward Henry and Blanche (Hawk) Ferleman, so some of the documentation has her as Margaret Frances Ferleman but the dates are the same. Especially not her son Gilbert L Leonard Jr, whose birth and death are two years apart yet the one record gives Ferleman the other gives Thompson.
