Survivors: Husband: Sylvan Phillips, Daughters: Mrs. Ara Jean Johnson & Mrs. Emma Betty Basey, both of Indianapolis, Son: William Robert Phillips of Indianapolis, Sisters: Mrs. Elsie Pitcock, Mrs. Lucy Monday & Mrs. Mollie Walden, all of Tompkinsville, Ky., Brothers: Joseph Hammer, Indianapolis, William Hammer, Fort Wayne, Ind., Leander Hammer, Muncie, Ind., and Frank Hammer of Tompkinsville, 15 Grandchildren.
Services: Conducted on Monday, at the J. C. Wilson Chapel of the Chimes in Indianapolis, Ind. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Glen Valley, Ind.
