Johnnie was born 27 January, 1947 in Jasper, Texas to Johnnie Howard Gaudet and Mary Virginia Hall.

Johnnie departed this life the 29 June, 2016 in Beaumont, Texas.

He was a 1965 graduate of Patterson High School in Patterson, Louisiana. He later attended Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana before emtering the United States Army where he served in the 61st Assault Helicopter Company in Vietnam.

Upon his discharge, he relocated to Beaumont, Texas where he was employed by Dupont and Threaded Steel. He then worked for a period of years as a fishing guide out of Fin and Feather Lodge on Toledo Bend Lake. Following this he returned to Beaumont where he spent the remainder of his life.

John is survived by his sister Missy Gaudet Jeffrey, a niece Alycia Luster and husband Andy of Houston, Texas, two nephews John David Jeffrey of Bridge City, Texas and Covy Howard Jeffrey of Beaumont, one dear friend Jackie Morrow of Beaumont, five great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Johnnie Howard Gaudet, Sr and Mary Virginia Hall Gaudet and one niece Leah Marie Jeffrey (47996353).

Following cremation, there will be no funeral or memorial services as per Johnnie's wishes~
