Emerson C. Wissinger, 79, of Indiana R. D. 2, died Thursday, March 21, 1968, in the Indiana Hospital. Born Jan 5, 1889, in Penn Run, he was a son of Alexander and Elizabeth Howath Wissinger. He had lived in the Clymer area for over 40 years prior to moving to his present address in 1932. Mr. Wissinger was a member of the Curry Run Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two sons: Donald E. and Robert, both of Indiana R. D. 2; two daughters: Mrs. John (Louise) Barish, Indiana R. D. 4; and Mrs. Ralph (Twila) Stiles, Homer City R. D. 2; six grandchildren, and his stepmother, Mrs. Mary Wissinger, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Gibson Wissinger in 1958 and a son, Harold. Friends will be received after 7:30 p.m. today and on Saturday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Robinson-Lytle's in Indiana, where services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. The Rev. William S. Merwin, D.D. will officiate and interment will be made in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
