Fritz Fly, 93, of 107 Buffalo Trail in Fritch died Saturday at his home.
A retired maintenance man at the Phillips Refinery, he was a native of Moore, Okla. and a Borger area resident for 41 years.
He was a veteran of World War I, having served in the U.S. Army, and a member of the Fritch Church of Christ and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; sons A.B. Fly of Amarillo and Bruce L. Fly of San Angelo; daughters Alta Plemmons of Midland, Linda Parker of Albuquerque and Elida Jo Mitchell of Montezuma Creek, Utah; brothers David Fly of New Summerfield, Texas, Claude Fly of Fort Collins, Colo. and Clarence Fly of Chickasha, Okla.; sisters Alice Cypher of Chickasha, Okla. and Valera Aud of Oklahoma City, Okla.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, at the Fritch Church of Christ with Mr. Bill Driver, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Home.
