Mary Lou (Graber) Housknecht, 79, widow of Edward R. Houseknecht, of Perkiomenville, passed away on July 10, 2016 at Fox Chase Cancer Center, where she was cared for lovingly.

Born in Chapel, she was a daughter of the late Charles Henry and Viola (Snyder) Graber.

Mary Lou worked in production at Cherrydale Farms in Hershey and later in retail at Annie Sez.

She was a member of New Goshenhoppen United Church of Christ in East Greenville.

Surviving are three children, Howard C. Houseknecht and wife, Debra of Boyertown; Craig A. Houseknecht and wife, Linda of East Greenville and Jill C., wife of David Zuck of Quakertown; four siblings, Charles Graber of Merimac, MA; Dorothy Bartholomew of Center Valley; Rose Marie Kimmel of East Greenville and Raymond Conrad of Pennsburg; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by eight siblings, Francis, Paul and Ralph Graber; Ruba Endy, Ernest Conrad; Marie and Ruth Leister and Jean Krauss.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at New Goshenhoppen UCC, 1070 Church Road, East Greenville, PA 18041 with Rev. Dr. Deborah Rahn Clemens officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a viewing from 10am until 11 am, Thursday at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville.
