Bill was closest with his brother Bob. They had great fun playing with their older siblings, cousins, and neighbors. The Falkenrath kids and their crew were devoted Trekkies. When they pretended they were on Star Trek, Bill claimed the role of Spock.
Bill played the violin. He was obsessed with electronics and computers back when kids were lucky if they had access to a calculator. Bill was also quite fond of his fierce orange kitty, whom he won at a fair. He named her Polly because he liked to balance her on his shoulder like a parrot.
At Bill's request, his cremains were interred near those of his grandfather John Godlove Falkenrath.
