Morrison, Ill. - Althea A. Badtke, 74, died Wednesday at St. Anthony Medical Center, Rockford.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Morrison, preceded by a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. at the church.
Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Friday at Morrison Chapel of Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home.
Althea Beveroth married Herbert Badtke in 1941 in Morrison.
They farmed for 38 years in Ustick Township.
Mrs. Badtke was a member of the church, Ladies Aid Society and Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
She also served for 25 years as a member of the Whiteside County Election Board.
A memorial fund has been established.
Survivors include her husband; sons, Larry, Sterling, and Dennis, Tampico; a granddaughter; sisters, Marian (Mrs. Larry) Meinsma, Fulton, Dorathy (Mrs. Jess) Klitz, Morrison, Onlie (Mrs. Charles) Walmsley, Rockford, and Lois (Mrs. Robert) Kelley, Zephyrhills, Fla.; and brothers, Herman and Herbert Beveroth, both of Sterling.
Mrs. Badtke was preceded in death by a daughter, Judith Ann.
