Lucy Diana Boyet of Potosi, Missouri was born on Tuesday, September 7, 1948 in Potosi, Missouri. A daughter of the late Alfred Jerome Benson and Lucy Alberta (Wilkinson) Benson. Lucy departed this life on Friday, November 10, 2006 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of fifty-eight years, two months and three days.

Lucy Diana was united in marriage to Doyle "Do Do" Boyet on September 17, 1966 in Potosi, Missouri and this union was blessed with two children.

Lucy Diana, also known as "Sissy" is survived by daughter, Shelley Pashea and husband James of Potosi, Missouri; son, Jerome Boyet and wife Tracy of Mineral Point, Missouri; sister, Erma Butery and husband Ralph of Mineral Point, Missouri; three brothers, Bud Benson and wife June of Potosi, Missouri, Leo Benson of Mineral Point, Missouri, Robert "Bo" Benson and wife Peggy of Fredericktown, Missouri; half brother, John Benson and wife Karen of Potosi, Missouri; seven grandchildren, David, Tarah, Amy, Travis, Derek, T.J. and Ryan; one great grandchild, Mackenzie; sister-in-law, Sandy Barnes of Potosi, Missouri; special niece, Teresa Jean Benson and Ron Johner of Caledonia, Missouri; also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Doyle "Do Do" Boyet on June 18, 1999, three brothers, Alfred Lenroe Benson, Paul Lee Benson and Stanley Edward Benson.

Lucy Diana loved spending time with her family and being able to help raise her grandchildren. She enjoyed picking blackberries with her grandchildren and cooking large meals for family gatherings. Sissy liked to sew, bake and play bingo. She attended the Hopewell Church of God, Hopewell, Missouri.

Visitation was held Tuesday, November 14, 2006 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moore Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.

A Funeral Service was held Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 1:00 PM at the Moore Memorial Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Brother Stephen Benson and Brother Christopher Harmon officiating. Honoring Lucy by serving as pallbearers were; David Boyet, Derek Boyet, Travis Rawe, Jason Benson, Brian Benson, Pete Benson and T.J. Harmon.

Final Prayers and Burial took place in the Hopewell Cemetery, Hopewell, Missouri.

Services were Entrusted to the Care and Direction of the Moore Funeral Homes, 105 Clark Street, Potosi, Missouri.
