Clarence G. Bahr, 89 of St. Joseph Ridge, died on Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born February 25, 1927 on the family farm near St. Joseph Ridge, WI to George and Mary (Novacek) Bahr.

On July 17, 1951 he married Delores A. Craig at the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman in La Crosse and she preceded him in death on June 26, 2009. Together, Clarence and Delores farmed on St. Joseph Ridge for over 50 years. The couple enjoyed dancing at the Concordia Ballroom in La Crosse, where they met many years before.

Clarence is survived by three sons; Duane (Lisa), Dan, and Jim; one daughter, Jane (Ron) Miller; a daughter-in-law, Joan Woods; five grandchildren; Tina (Chad) Doering, Christopher (Laura) Bahr, Heidi (Julio) Bird, Ben (Laura Dowiasch) Miller and Mark (Chandra Fry) Miller; eight great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; Amber (Matthew) Fierro, Dalton, Sarah and Garrett Dow; two step great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Kathy Craig; one brother-in-law, Merlin Eggen; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife Delores, he was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Don Bahr; twin infant daughters; three sisters, Margaret Hurtz, Mildred Morehouse and Elizabeth Bahr.

Entombment will be held in Catholic Cemetery.
