Born in Indiana (probably in Ripley County); grew up in the area near Fowler, Benton County, Indiana; died in Danville, Vermilion County, Illinois.

Married in 1910 to Effie M. PHILLIPS (1892-1950), daughter of John D. PHILLIPS and Louanna J. LONG. (After Harrison died, Effie married Frank DIETZ.)

Harrison and Effie had three children: Harry (b. 1911), Eunice Mae (b. 1913), and Ray Lamonte (b. 1915). Harrison's son Roy was born three months after Harrison died. Harrison's only grandchildren came from that son born three months after Harrison died.

Harrison died from injuries sustained as a result of falling from a cherry tree.
