Born in Jackson County, Alabama, he was the son of William C. Allison and Arrie Steele Allison. A veteran of World War II, he was a retired employee of a wholesale candy company.
Services were held February 19 at Watson-Gamble Chapel. Rev. Joe Plunkett officiated. Burial was in Huntland City Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Allison of Huntland; his step-mother, Bobbie Allison of Stevenson, Alabama; two brothers, W. F. Allison of Grant, Alabama, and B. J. Allison of Chattanooga; one sister, Dorothy Dean of Scottsboro, Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
