Carl Bocchini passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2016, from a stroke he received at his home in Santa Cruz, CA. Carl, age 74, born and raised in Fresno, CA, and graduated from Clovis High School and Fresno State College. In 1968, Carl opened and operated a golf driving range in Fremont, CA until 2000. Carl then became a special education teacher in Fremont School District, and completely retired in 2010. Carl traveled the world many times and met lots of wonderful people, many who came to visit him and his door was always open, wide open. Every stranger he met left him as a friend. Carl was well known for helping others. Carl will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A Celebration of Carl's Life will be held at Hank's Swank Par- 3 Golf Course, 6101 E. Olive, at Fowler Ave., Fresno, CA on Saturday, July 9, 2016, beginning at 6:30 p.m. until lat in the evening.
