Mr. William Richard Barnes, age 72 of Dora went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Bryan Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Rev. Lewis Smith will officiate. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He was a member of Dora Church of God and a loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather. Preceding him in death were his father, one sister, and two brothers.
Survivors include his mother, Velma “Tince” Glover; wife, Donna Barnes; sons, Jeff Barnes and Steven Stewart; daughters, Lisa Barnes and Diane Stewart; grandsons, Matthew Morgan and Tyler Tubbs; sisters, Myra Wilkerson and Patricia Smith; brother, Harvey Barnes; and a host of other relatives and friends.
