Graveside services for Mrs. Peggy Sue Liggett, 88, of Griggsville, Illinois will be held at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana, Missouri. The Rev. Randall Cone will officiate. No visitation will be held prior to the service. Mrs. Liggett passed away Saturday, June 16, 2012 at the East Side Health and Rehabilitation Center in Pittsfield, Illinois. Peggy was born June 1, 1924 in Louisiana, Missouri to Clarence Branstetter and Bessie Worsham Branstetter. She married Kenneth Liggett in 1964 and he preceded her in death in 1976. She is survived by one brother, John Branstetter and wife, Peggy of Louisiana, Missouri, Three sisters; Carolyn Lovelace and husband, Dennis of Elsberry, Missouri, Mary Jane Nugent of Hazelwood, Missouri and Margaret Louise Tarrants of Waterloo, Iowa and a Sister-In-Law, Phyllis Branstetter of Pekin, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters; Betty Lou Branstetter, Sarah Frances Branstetter and Elizabeth McCormick, one brother, James Richard Branstetter and a special companion, Honan Kull who died November 14, 2005.
