Mr. Jimmy Carrol “Curly” Austin, age 82 of Chestnut Mound, died Tuesday morning, June 28 at Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation.
He is survived by: children, Denise Blair and husband Joe of Hartsville and David Austin and wife Jo Ann of Chestnut Mound ;grandchildren, Alicia Wills and husband Jason of Difficult, Jimmy Austin and wife Bridget of Hickman, Michelle McGowan and husband Chad of Lebanon, Savannah Inman and husband Gregory of Lebanon and Kelsey Dickens of Hartsville; great-grandchildren, Lora Wills, Olivia Wills, A.J. Wills, Kailee Austin, Tanner Austin and Austin McGowan .
Mr. Austin is at the Carthage Chapel of Sanderson Funeral Home where his service will be conducted on Thursday afternoon, June 30 at 3:00 PM. Bro. Bobby Ray will officiate. The Carthage Benevolent Lodge #14 will conduct a Masonic Chapel Service at 7:00 PM Wednesday. Interment in the Smith County Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will begin on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon until 7:00 PM and on Thursday from 10:00 AM until service time at 3:00 PM.
