Sarah Slauter, 72, wife of Frank Slauter, LaPorte, died Sunday afternoon at her home. She was born in Avon but moved to LaPorte at the age of two and has lived there since.
The deceased is survived by her husband, three daughter, Mrs. Henry Smith, Mrs. Frank Bruce, and Mrs. Nina Rhodes; four sons, Arthur, Fred, Frank and Harry Slauter; two sisters, Mrs. Esther Frary and Mrs. Mary Walker; two brothers, Ben and Charles Buswell.
Funeral services will be conducted from the M. E. church at LaPorte of which she was a member, at two o'clock Wednesday, April 23rd. Burial will be made in LaPorte cemetery.
