Miss Ella McCartney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. D. McCartney, died at her home, corner of Twelfth street and Fourth avenue, at 11 o'clock yesterday morning, of inflammation of the brain, after a brief illness. The deceased was a member of the A class in the high school, and over studying was what caused death. Her age was eighteen years; she was an exceedingly intelligent and industrious girl, and was beloved by all who knew her.
