Wavie Burch Vest, 91, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, December 17, 1995, at Stonewall Jackson Hospital in Lexington. She was born December 1, 1904, in Amherst County, daughter of the late Frank Burch and Emmie Henson Burch.
She was a member of the Oronoco Brethren Church in Amherst County.
Surviving are her husband, Yokley Vest; three daughters, Velma Bradley and Arnona Kerr of Buena Vista and Lucille Ward of Baltimore, Md.; one son, Earsey Coleman of Baltimore; two sisters, Rennie Davis of Vesuvius and Sarah Coleman of Buena Vista; one brother, Bernard Burch of Buena Vista; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Arnold Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Bolling, Grose & Lotts Fuenral Service
