Wilmer "Bo" Boaldin, 82, Altus, passed away at his home on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 AM, Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. David Player and Rev. John Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of the Kincannon Funeral Home.

Bo was born on March 9, 1934 to Albert Cleveland "Ab" and Mae Elizabeth (Buchanan) Boaldin in Eldorado, Oklahoma. He graduated from Altus High School with the class of 1952. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University, where he played football. Upon leaving SWOSU, he served his country in the United States Army as a helicopter crew chief from 1954 to 1956. Bo and Barbara Yvonne Snodgrass were united in marriage on November 15, 1958 in Olustee, OK. He worked for the United States Postal Service for thirty five years and retired as the Postmaster in Eldorado. Bo loved farming on his farm outside of Eldorado, OK and was a member of the Lions Club and the First United Methodist Church of Altus. He loved his family, including extended family, football, fishing and farming.

Bo is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, James Dee Boaldin, Joe Boaldin and wife, Betty, Leland "Abbo" Boaldin and A.C. Boaldin and wife, Oleta, and his sisters, Geneva Walston and husband, Jack, Abbie Heidebrecht and husband, Tom, Dorothy Abbott and husband, Joe, Agnes Whittington and husband, Duffy and Madge Bills and husband, George.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Barbara; a daughter, Gina Crosley and husband, Chris; a son Kyle Boaldin and wife, Sheila; five grandchildren, Shelby, Connor, Devyn and Keegan Crosley, and Blake Boaldin; a brother, Bob Boaldin; a sister-in-law, Pyrlene Boaldin; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

The Boaldin family will greet friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kincannon Gathering Room.

Memorials may be made in Mr. Boaldin's name to the Youth Fund at the First United Methodist Church.
