Don was born Wednesday, April 27, 1938 at the Salt Lake General Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Truman Curtis and Lauretta Ruth Jensen Curtis.
Beloved husband of Beverly Harwood Curtis. He lived in Kamas, Utah for most of his life. He loved the mountains and lakes of Utah. They were his sanctuary.
In 2005, Don was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, which by then, was in the advanced stages. He passed away peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2006 at his home, four days after turning sixty-eight years old.
Don was cremated and his ashes were scattered in the mountains above Kamas where he lived.
