On July 23, 1919, Lucy and Zach were married. On May 12, 1922 they were blessed with the birth of a daughter, Kathleen Ruth Bailey. Tragically, on August 19, 1924, while working at Cranberry Fuel Co., Zach was killed in a mine shaft by a falling pipe line, leaving his beloved wife and 2 year old daughter."
