She was born September 5, 1926 in Kime, MO, the daughter of George and Annie (Meloy) Berry. A lifelong resident of Wayne county, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.
Dorothy was married to Jerry Stephens and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death are her parents, George and Annie Berry, one daughter, Mary Ellen Lincoln, two brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include two children, Sandra Swartz, of Marble Hill, MO, Gary Stephens, of Matthews, MO, one sister, Melba Joann Gerstner, of Eolia, MO., and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM Monday at the Morrison-Worley Chapel in Greenville. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home chapel with Rev. Louie Robinson officiating. Interment will be in the Greenville Cemetery.
