Scotty Flaherty, 75, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2016 at his in home in Tell City.

He was born October 4, 1940 to the late Carlisle Flaherty and the late Katie (Dunn) Dixon.

Scotty was married on June 19, 1988 to the former Sharon Singletary, who precedes him in death. He was truck driver for National Freight and Pegasus. A Member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Scotty enjoyed attending church, golfing, fishing and boating.

Surviving are his children, Gary, Robert, and Pamela Flaherty, Debra VanBuren, Laura Corso all of Louisville, Angela Flaherty of Owensboro and Mark Corso of Florida; step-father, Willie Dixon of Tell City; brother, Charlie Polston of Radcliffe, KY; sister, Pamela Wrightsman of Tell City; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10am CST Monday, May 30, 2016 at St. Paul Church. Father Tom Richstatter, OFM will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be at Zoercher-Gilllick Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-7pm and Monday 8:30-9:30am
