She was born Aug. 21, 1936, at Smith Mountain at Onego, a daughter of the late Philbert Bodkin and Mary Payne.
She attended Circleville High School and graduated from Florida School of Cosmetology.
She was the former owner of Orange Park Beauty Academy in Orange Park, FL, from 1968 to 1974 and the Auction House in Franklin from 1977 to 1985.
In 1981, she was married to Ralph H. Mallow, who survives.
Also surviving are, one daughter, Jeri Harper and husband, Charles, of Franklin; a stepdaughter, Ella Calhoun of Urbana, OH; a son, Bobby Hartman of Richwood; two stepsons, Jeffery Mallow of Harrisonburg, VA, and Kevin Mallow of Franklin; two sisters, Irene Mallow and Philberta Bland, both of Riverton; three grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Golden Bodkin and Richard Bodkin.
The Rev. Stanley Kile conducted the funeral Sunday at Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin.
Burial was in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Franklin.
