Mary Lucille Bickett O'Neill went home to the Lord on June 10, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 8, 1925 in Whitesville, Kentucky to Henry and Ina Belle Bickett. She graduated from Mount Saint Joseph Academy in 1942. During WWII, she worked in an airplane factory. She worked for the Department of Revenue for 18 years. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and in many other church activities. She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Lawrence Richard O'Neill, her brothers Alvin Bickett and Dennis Bickett and a sister Geraldine Bickett Owdziej. She is survived by all eleven of her children: John O'Neill (Marlene), Michael O'Neill (Marilyn), Mary Ann Sibley, Marcella Sherwin (Doug), Gail O'Neill, Charles O'Neill (Jeanne), Chris Cobb (Vernon), Gerard O'Neill, Richard O'Neill (Melissa), Nancy Hunt, and Teresa O'Neill; her siblings: Kenneth Bickett, James C. Bickett, Edmund Bickett, Sister Louisa Bickett, Jeanie Calhoun and Carol Bell, as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Thank you to St. Joseph's Hospice for the loving care and attention given during her later years as she endured the effects of Alzheimer's. Visitation will be on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs. Please join the family for Rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 will resume at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Father Frank Uter will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Cemetery.
