He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Margaret A. Thomas Bickett of Arcadia, FL, four sons James C. (Jane) Bickett, Jr. of Morganfield, KY, Henry Len (Leslie) Bickett of Arcadia, FL, David G. Bickett of Owensboro, KY and Paul J. (Suzanne) Bickett of Calhoun, KY, five daughters Patty Bickett and Janie (Marvin) Settles all of Owensboro, KY, Peggy (Clay) Cecil of Arcadia, FL., Becky (Ben) Marks and Mary Celeste (Kenny) Clary all of Owensboro, KY, two brothers Edmund Bickett and Kenny Bickett, three sisters ; Sister Louis Marie Bickett, Jeanie Calhoun, and Carol Bell; thirty-two grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents, grandson Logan Ray Bickett, brothers Alvin and Dennis Bickett and sisters Geraldine Owdziej and Lucille O'Neill and daughter-in-law
