Mr. Hite D. Bowman, one of the prominent men of Louisville died Wednesday morning of pneumonia at St. Anthony's Hospital in that city. Mr. Bowman was born 59 years ago in Mercer county on what is know as the Lord place, near Burgin. He was the son of the late Abraham Hite Bowman and a brother of the late Dudley M. Bowman. Mrs. Nannie Bowman Moore, of this city is a niece. The deceased was educated at Centre College and for a number of years has resided in Louisville and been identified with its best business interests. He was a valued member of the Board of Trade and a member of the Pendennis Club. The funeral was held yesterday from the residence. He is survived by his son, Mr. Clifford Bowman, who was associated with him in the automobile business, and three sisters, two of whom live in St. Louis, and the other, Mrs. Anna Kinnaird, resides in Danville.
