Mrs. T. A. Ussery, Nolan Resident, Dies
Sweetwater, April 14 - Mrs. T. A. Ussery, 76, a resident of the Nolan community for more than 30 years, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday at her residence at Nolan.
She was born Idella Agnes Allen on April 26, 1875 in Norwood, Mo. She was married to T. A. Ussery on Aug. 4, 1897 in Wright County, Mo.
The couple came to Nolan County on Sept. 4, 1919.
Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Nolan Baptist Church with the Rev. A. L. Patterson, the Rev. Burt Mason and the Rev. Hugh Magee officiating.
Burial will be in the Slater's Chapel Cemetery with Patterson Funeral Home of Sweetwater in charge.
Pallbearers will be Jess Brown, Les Lister, Max Holder, F. B. Porter, Carson Buchanan, and Walter Ashton.
Survivors include four sons, F. M. Ussery, Lawrence Ussery, Clarence Ussery and Melvin Ussery all of Nolan,; two daughters, Mrs. R. C. Wilkerson of Sweetwater and Mrs. Monroe Oliver of Nolan; two sisters, Mrs. Belle Ussery of Waterford, Calif., and Mrs. Lillie Ward of Mansfield, Mo.; two brothers, Bob Allen of Mansfield, Mo., and Roscoe Allen of Norwood, Mo.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
