SWEETWATER - Services for Otho Brice Hartgraves, 81, father of a San Angelo resident, will be at 2 p.m. today in the Highland Heights United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lawrence Menefee officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater.

Hartgraves died at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

He was born Jan. 22, 1900, in Ardmore, Okla. He Attended school in Maryneal and at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. He was married to Inez Russell on Sept. 2, 1922, in Roscoe. He had been a grocer, stockfarmer, insurance salesman and had worked for Agricultural Stabilization Conservation. He was a member of Highland Heights United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Morgan of Shamrock; two sons, William Russell Hartgraves of Corpus Christi and Morris Hartgraves of San Angelo; three sisters, Jewell Arrick of Big Spring and Ada Crowell and Vida Lee Little, both of Corpus Christi; seven brothers, Ray Hartgraves, Louie Hartgraves and Enos Hartgraves, all of Sweetwater, Bascom Hartgraves of Eldorado, Elwood Hartgraves and Roy Hartgraves, both of Dallas, and Harold Hartgraves of Corpus Christi; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
