Paul K. Nelson. May 16, 1928, to June 6, 2016. Our loving dad, grandpa and friend passed away at home on June 6, following a long illness. He was born in Appleton, Tenn., to Jeff and Birdie Nelson, the fourth of five children. He was married to his sweet wife, Kathryn Rose, for 66 years and they had four children. He was preceded in death by parents; siblings; son-in-law, Mike Wright; and his dear Kathryn in 2013. He is survived by sons, Paul W. (Barbara) and David T. Nelson; daughters, Susie (Russel) Hankins and Linda Wright; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grand-children and three great-great- grandchildren. We were all so blessed. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, in Denver at Fort Logan, Staging Area B.
