Eleanor 'Pauline' Bergey, 83, of Clearfield died on Monday, June 13, 2016 at the Ridgeview Eldercare and Rehabilitation Center, Curwensville.

She was born on September 6, 1932 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Thomas and Esther (Rothrock) Dunkle.

Mrs. Bergey was employed by Consolidated Bowling Corp. of Niagara Falls, NY for seventeen years. She will be remembered for her baking skills and will be missed by her dog, Max.

She attended the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Clearfield and the Philipsburg Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by a daughter, Anne Jean Wagoner of Clearfield; three grandchildren, John Francis Wagoner, Eric Paul Wagoner and wife Jessica and Autumn Jean Wagoner and companion Mike Norris; two great grandchildren, Shaylee Wagoner and Phillip J. Peters; three sisters, Elizabeth Williams of Tyrone, Joan Murray of Red Hook, NY, and Deborah Dunkle of Red Hook, NY; and two brothers, James Dunkle and wife OraBelle of Morrisdale and William Dunkle and wife Candy of Morrisdale; and a sister-in-law, Viola Hubler of Philipsburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burton F. Bergey on February 11, 2007 and whom she wed March 6, 1954 in Niagara Falls, NY; two sons, John and Matthew Bergey; a sister Beverly Kramer; and a brother Robert Dunkle.

Funeral services will be held at the Kevin A Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield on Thursday at 11 AM. Interment will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery, Frenchville.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM and on Thursday from 10-11 AM.
