DEATH’S HARVEST – FRANK BARNHIZER
Frank Barnhizer, one of the prominent farmers of the Hurricane neighborhood died Tuesday night about 11:00 from a stroke of apoplexy.
The news of his death caused great surprise in the community. He was taken ill a few minutes past 6:00 in the evening while at work at the barn and had to be assisted to the house. The stroke came just as he reached the house and he became unconscious remaining so until his death a few hours later.
Deceased was fifty years old. He leaves a wife and three children, namely, Carey, Hazel and Marie.
Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at 2:00 at the Hurricane Baptist church conducted by Prof. C. H. Hall.
