Mary Kathleen Brakken was born and raised in Tonasket, Washington. She moved to Seattle and worked at Boeing not he B-29 assembly line during WWII [sic]. She married Balvin (Bob) Bracken in 1943 and they raised two sons together in Seattle. She loved horses, enjoyed sketching and painting, camping, and her Seattle Mariners and Seahawks. She is survived by her two children, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
