Thanks to Benae, this pic shows a honorary tombstone for Sandy at Rocky Creek Baptist Church, Higgins Mill,Monroe County, GA. It says,
Born Jan.6, 1830
Died and Buried on battlefield fighting for his country at Murphysburrg(Murfreesboro), Tenn. Dec.31, 1862
It is part of part of his wife and second husbands stone.
