Around May 1952 she married someone with the last name Boles and by February 1952 she was married to someone with the last name Grant. On September 1958 she reverted back to her maiden name but in April 1987 changed her name again to Margrette Ruth Patterson. She died on December 23, 1993, in South Bend, Indiana, at the age of 74.
