Mrs. Kasa was born on July 9, 1917, in Logansport, IN., to Clarence J. and Charity Evelyn (Winterrowd) Patterson.
Married on March 30, 1940, she is survived by he loving husband, Joseph of Cherry Hill. Mr. and Mrs. Kasa had lived on East Ewing Avenue, South Bend, IN., for nearly 60 years before moving to New Jersey. In addition to her husband, Joseph, she is survived by he son Thomas (Gloria) Kasa of Cherry Hill; two grand-children, Thomas Kasa II of New York, NY, and Kimberly B. Moore of Littleton, Colorado; and one great-grandchild, Colin Moore.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lee Ola Earll, Ruth Patterson and Charlotte Longley; and by five brothers, Virgil, Dale, Ray, Orville and Loran Patterson.
Mrs. Kasa graduated from Lucerne High School in Lucerne, IN. She later worked at Wilson Brothers Shirt Company, Precision Piece Parts Inc., and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company. Billie was an avid reader and gifted at needlework. She crocheted dozens and dozens of beautiful afghans for family and friends. She was a devoted and loving wife, and a wonderful mom and grandmother.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family. The Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, in handling the local arrangements.
